May 28, 2023Valentin, top notch resort! Angeles is AMAZING!
This resort is amazing!!! First timers. Angeles in the golden pool is AMAZING! Never an empty glass! We cannot say enough great things about Angeles! Got to meet the famous ‘Dora’! All the staff is wonderful! The food was delicious with so many options. The cleanliness of this resort is outstanding. Definitely would visit again!

Anniversary Trip
The yearly anniversary trip with the wife was amazing as usual! The swim-up room is great and the weather was perfect. The staff is all so friendly and remember us each year. The food and drinks were amazing. Dora is always such a joy to see and catch up with each year.

May 28, 2023Disappointed to say the least
We were a bit astonished at the lack of service by staff and lack of availability of the advertised amenities. Restaurants were really unaccommodating. Wait times at each restaurant often exceeded 40 minutes for our group of 5, we were not permitted to make reservations, and the table service was so slow that dinner took upwards of 2 hours so we missed the shows almost every night. They were unwilling to push two tables together despite many small tables sitting empty. We were woken at 7:30am with calls from their sales team advertising excursions which was really disruptive. I had money stolen from my room. Granted, all valuables should go in the safe but at that price point had hoped for higher integrity from the staff. I also reached out to the resort prior to posting this review and they couldn’t be bothered to respond.

Amazing Resort!!
Where do I begin? The Valentin is in my opinion the BEST resort! We have been to Mexico over 20x and this will be our 9th time at this resort. The Valentin is a beautiful resort, it has several pools, which gives you the opportunity to be at the “party” pool or sit next to a pool in a quieter area. If you don’t want to sit by a pool the ocean is also available. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the waves are minimal, which makes it great for swimming or cooling off. All of the rooms are great, there is no need to upgrade unless you wanted an ocean front room. The have a good variety of restaurants: Mexican, Italian, Japanese, French, Indonesian, steak house, or the teppanyaki show at the Japanese restaurant. There is also a coffee shop that offers several food items, and various bars around the resort. Several things set the Valentin apart from other resorts. I believe the service is the number one. From the moment you get there, you are treated like royalty. Every staff member is just amazing! Some that stood out thus trip are Nancy from the restaurant by the beach, Jose from the Italian restaurant, Alejandro and Wilberth. My absolute favorite employee is Dora, we met her 9 years ago, she is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Dora checks in with guests daily to make sure they are having a great time and enjoying their vacation. She is more than an employee to me, she is now a really good friend. If you get a chance to go to Cancun, you will not be disappointed with this resort.

Excellent food, staff, and Entertainment.
3rd time to Valentin. Excellent food, service and Entertainment. Special shout out to Dora for her great suggestions on how to enjoy our evening each night. Tried Mezcal for the first time because Dora introduced us to it. The worm way! Thanks for the great memories. Also want to recognize Angelina at the golden pool area. Always great service(ice ice baby). Highly recommend this place!
