Everything was bad especially the good, the beach was awesome, the rooms smelled mildew and was not clean the air was not working, the workers were rude, the menu is the same over and over and you have to ask for the chef to take care of you or else you are stuck

Aug 27, 2023Dreams Sands - Honest Review
Let me start off by telling future customers to not believe some of the negative reviews. My wife and I have been to many all-inclusive resorts, and this one was very good. I will keep this short and to the point. BTW - we were in the premier club, not by choice. Weather - August is rainy season there and it did rain. Staff was great working to keep things going and dry. Check In - Arrived to resort early, 11am, room was ready by 2pm. Went to beach during this time and chairs were available. Very smooth and efficient, and didn’t push the buying into system. We said we would get back to them. Pool - not pool people, can’t give an honest review, but they seemed to be very nice. Beach - loved it with plenty of chairs available early in the morning, 7-9am. Not a very big beach, water was beautiful with very little seaweed as suggested in other posts. Room - perfect for what we were looking for. Some suggested only 2 elevators in resort, not true, need to look in other areas as we were on the 10th floor and had no problems. Hotel - not as big as we are used to, but very nice and clean. Staff always cleaning. Restaurants - very good food with multiple options. You do have to wait for dinners as it is first come first serve. Breakfast has multiple options at the buffet, but get there early as lines form. Overall - very much liked this resort. Good things come in small packages. Awesome staff on all levels. They look out for your best interest. Highly recommend for the price.

Dreams Sand Cancun resort and spa was an amazing vacation destination for myself and my friends vacation. The food was very yummy. The service was amazing and the beach was overall the best thing about this resort I have been to Cancun multiple times but other resorts don’t have the same type of beach view that this resort and it was perfect. It was clean it was organized. It was well taken care of and it just had a perfect location for where the beach was. The hotel room was very very nice. The beds were big and they were clean and the overall experience for us was a good one. There were some restaurants here in there that didn’t have a big selection of a menu or the food was OK but I think the staff and the beach and the pools and the shows that they had throughout the week really made up for those really tiny minor incident but other than that the food was really good. The staff was great. The beach was amazing. The pools are nice and clean. Our rooms were very nice and I will definitely come back here if I get the chance to go back to Cancun. another perk that I forgot to mention about this hotel was the location of where it’s at. If you are interested in going to see the little party side of Cancun, for example señor frogs, and Coco bongo it is only about a five minute drive from a car and it’s about a 12 minute walk from the hotel to the strip, and I actually went out one night to go eat at señor frogs and I went out and I walked back to the hotel, and it only took us about 10 to 12 minutes and i feel like it’s good to know because if you are interested in going to Coco bongo or just going out to see the clubs at night and to see the nightlife of Cancun. It wasn’t far from the hotel, so that is one great perk.

While the property is nice, their dress code is sexist and inaccurate. We packed based on what their website said. We thought pants for men in restaurants in a tropical climate was horrible. We have lots of nice dress shorts. Come to find out they don't enforce that. However, we just tried to go to the breakfast buffet before heading out for the day and we're turned away because we were wearing tank tops. Women can pretty much wear a bikini top and cover up any time anywhere. Get with the times. It's ridiculous.

Dream Sands summer vacation 2023
The beach is clean, clear, and very calm. The service here was amazing. Miguel the bartender made the best drinks, Alexis at Olios was great and most of all Garrison (David) our poolside/beach server was the absolute best! He was funny and very attentive! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Cancun
