A Must!
This is such a beautiful resort! They keep this place immaculately clean and literally shinny. Check in was very smooth and easy. Luckily, our room was ready so we we able to check in early. As soon as we were done with check in, we were immediately approached by someone to make our dinner reservations. I was on a mother/daughter trip with some women family members who are all married so the concierge making our reservations was disappointed that he couldn’t sell us on the timeshare. Our room was nice and ample enough for my daughter, sister, 2yr old niece and I. Bring slippers if you have room in your luggage as the floors are all tile. We were in a suite facing the pool in bldg 51. It was a generous, although lovely, walk from the main buffet but very close to the pools, beach and a few restaurants. Our rooms were cleaned daily sometimes early and sometimes late. There’s a lot of rooms to clean so we were patient. They knew to leave us extra towels and always cleaned up well. The pools were huge! There’s something for everyone. The main pool was always entertaining although I wish there was an area that was more deep than 4ft but it did the job. The foam pool party was really fun! The wave pool was relaxing but I couldn’t take my floaty in so I didn’t hang out there much. The lazy river will move you along but very, very slow. It’s nice if you really want to chill and unwind. Beware, there’s a lot of bugs, especially bees along the way as you will be under a lot of vegetation. The kids pool was a hit for my 2 yr old niece. She loved the spray structure and all the mini slides that were just her size. My preteen really enjoyed the water slides and the variety of them made it easy to tag along with her on a few. Beach chairs were abundant so we didn’t have to get up early to reserve them. The beach was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous white sand and again, they kept it clean at all times. Little to no seaweed on the shore but quite a bit in the water. There were large areas to swim around in that didn’t have seaweed though. Service at the beach grill has room for improvement. There has to be a better way to cook more fries at a time. I waited 20 minutes in line for fries because they only cook small batches at a time and they won’t serve the fries until a few batches are done instead of serving the batch that is done. I didn’t understand that system but the hotel needs to invest in a larger fryer as French fries and burgers are very popular on the beach and at the pool during the day. I wasn’t too impressed with the restaurant food except for the Under the Sea restaurant. I would highly recommend that you don’t skip that one. I was very disappointed with the food at the Mexican restaurant. I was really looking forward to eating there but sad to say it wasn’t satisfying. I did enjoy the taco “truck” next to the pool. Those taco were yummy! I think the buffet food was better than the restaurants although my cook to order omelettes kept getting over cooked. Overall I enjoyed the buffet and the wide selection of food. Service at all the restaurants was excellent! Don’t miss out on walking the grounds of the neighboring sister hotels. I loved seeing all the animals roaming free like the peacocks, flamingos and iguanas. The swans were so elegant and graceful. I could’ve watched them all day. The coati’s were abundant and weren’t bothered by human presence especially on the beach. There are plenty of carts to whisk you around, but don’t depend on them as they can fill up quickly. Some may even whisk right past you with nobody on board as they may be going to pick up a schedule pick up. I was actually ignored a few times as I was just trying to ask a question but I never took it personally as this hotel is very large, so I understand that it may lose some personal service . The grounds are beautiful though if you have the energy to walk them. Overall we recommend this hotel especially for families.

Filthy, Loud, Gross
We have been here two days are are trying to book a flight home. The rooms are filthy. We have changed rooms twice - one was a little less dirty than the other. Room is extremely hot. No fan in bathroom. Bugs in our room. Broken sliding door. No water pressure. We saved for four years and thought we were bringing our children to paradise. We feel duped, deceived, bamboozled. The resort is nothing like the photos. It’s impossible to relax and extremely noisy. We expected things to be expensive, but are just horrified by the prices. $50 for a bottle of sunscreen. $60 for a little friendship bracelet you could get at dollar tree. We are going to go home with a few cell phone pics, sunburn, and probably fleas. Activists are nonexistant. You can go to the pool or the beach. That’s it. The “shows” they offer seem to be put on my the children of the staff. I’m not kidding at all. There are no maps of the resort and no signage. It’s impossible to navigate and we waste so much time just walking in circles trying to get to where we want to go. Food is disgusting and not kept at proper temps. Cheese and milk left out for hours without any ice/cooling. The staff is lethargic and seems defeated. We are constantly being harassed re: timeshare/vacation packages. My family is truly miserable. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Is all of Mexico like this? I don’t know, but I’m not going to find out. We will never, ever return here. I wouldn’t visit this place again if someone paid me.

Great time with friends and family.
Everything was good. I didn’t like that they tried selling us a timeshare every time they would see us. We went to 3 restaurants, tapatio, Rancho and hashiru. All three restaurants were very accommodating with our large group of 20 people. The only problem we had was with Marbella at hashiru, who was very rude to me but then a nice gentleman went and got us and sat us down. Wish I would have remembered his name. We had a great time other than that incident.

Perfect week in paradise
Amazing vacation! This is our 3rd time returning to Iberostar but our first time at Lindo property. (we did Pariso Beach the past 2 visits) We are a family of 4 with children ages 10 and 14. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The beach was perfect with zero seaweed. The food was fantastic and lots to choose from. Drinks were always cold and available. The room was absolutely lovely and always quiet. The Star friends were always working hard to keep guests engaged and having fun through games and activities. The overall service was top notch and there was always someone around willing to help or do what they can to make your stay a positive one. We want to give a huge special shoutout to DAVID at the swim up bar (main pool Lindo) who went above and beyond to make our experience a 5+ star experience. David worked SO hard and my daughters (and we) just loved him. You could tell that he was the fan favourite at the bar with other guests chanting his name when he entered the floor for his shift. I truly hope that management sees this and tells David that he is doing an amazing job and gives him recognition. Honestly, all the workers were amazing. Highlights would include the fire show on the beach followed by dance party – and also the foam party. I hope management realizes how impactful these fun events are in creating fun memories for families. Amazing job. My only complaint is the usual evening entertainment at the main theater. This was for sure lacking. Entertainment needs a redo/facelift for sure – it was cheesy and boring. I do not think that it is right or fair to charge for “upgraded” entertainment and feel that this should be revisited. Otherwise – amazing vacation! Thank you Iberostar! Until next time!

No lights in main toilet
Been here 3 nights and the main gents toilet light has not been working. During the evening it is used often and ends up with a floor deep in urine. Let’s hope they get around to fixing it. Also, the wires of the switch have been exposed all this time.
